At Simple Entrepreneur Québec, we are proud to contribute to a more sustainable future with these ecological initiatives!
Here are some of the eco-friendly initiatives we are implementing to reduce our environmental footprint:
- Eco-Responsible Website: Our site is hosted by Green Geeks, which means that for every site they host, they plant trees and offset carbon emissions. You can see the “300% Eco-Friendly” logo at the bottom of our page.
- Paperless Operations: We prioritize digital management as much as possible to minimize paper usage. When printing is necessary, we use recycled paper to reduce our impact on forests.
- Eco-Friendly Inks: We favor environmentally friendly inks for our printing needs.
- Energy Efficiency: We maximize the use of energy-efficient devices to reduce our energy impact.
- Renewable Energy: We are in the process of sourcing part of our energy from renewable sources.
- Waste Reduction: We encourage reuse and recycling to minimize the waste generated by our activities.
- Responsible Travel: We minimize travel as much as possible, but when necessary, we prioritize electric transportation to reduce our environmental impact.
- Responsible Purchasing: We favor buying used equipment to reduce the demand for new products and minimize electronic waste.
- Local Purchasing: We prioritize local suppliers to support the regional economy and reduce the carbon footprint associated with transporting goods. By buying local, we help minimize greenhouse gas emissions from long-distance transport while fostering a more resilient and environmentally friendly local economy.
